چکیده
Abstract Disposing of coal gangue and fly-ash on the surface is a risky method with tremendous potential catastrophic consequences for environment. Backfill mining promising practice turning those hazardous wastes into functional backfill materials. Unfortunately, how to efficiently deliver slurry desired places remains under-researched. To address this issue, computational fluid dynamics software Fluent was used in current study addition laboratory rheological test simulate impact various parameters evolution pressure at particular section pipeline. Furthermore, response employed investigate components their corresponding influencing weights interact affect drop. This demonstrates that drop highly influenced by concentration, speed, pipe diameter. While conveying speed main component bend section, diameter takes over horizontal vertical sections.

Influence of Pipeline Operating Pressure on Value Setting of Automatic Control Valves at Different Pressure Drop Rates
When a natural gas pipeline ruptures, the adjacent upstream and downstream automatic control valves (ACV) should close quickly to prevent leakage or explosion. The differential pressure set point (DPS) at each valve location is the main criteria for value setting in ACV actions. If the DPS is not properly adjusted, the ACV may mistakenly close or it may not take any actions at a proper ti...

Rapid industrialization results in increased use of natural resources bring along serious ecological and environmental imbalance due to the dumping of industrial wastes. Principles of sustainable construction have to be accepted with regard to the consumption of natural resources and the production of harmful emissions. Cement is a great importance raw material in the building industry and toda...
متن کاملThe respiratory toxicity of coal fly ash
The aim of this study was to compare the relative respiratory toxicity of CFA samples obtained from three Chinese coal-burning power stations to CFA obtained from a UK coal-burning power station; both bulk and respirable PM10 samples were tested. In order to elucidate CFA toxicity, a multi-disciplinary approach was taken, thereby considering geochemical aspects of the fly ash as well as biochem...
متن کاملUse of fly-ash slurry in backfill grouting in coal mines
Cave backfill grouting implies grouting of the caving rock mass prior to it being compacted. The filling materials strengthen the caving rock and support the overlying strata to achieve the purpose of slowing down the surface subsidence. The broken roof will fail and collapse during mining operations performed without appropriate supporting measures being taken. It is difficult to perform conti...
متن کاملDirect Quantitative Analysis of Arsenic in Coal Fly Ash
A rapid, simple method based on graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry is described for the direct determination of arsenic in coal fly ash. Solid samples were directly introduced into the atomizer without preliminary treatment. The direct analysis method was not always free of spectral matrix interference, but the stabilization of arsenic by adding palladium nitrate (chemical modifier...
